Wow, can't believe it's been 3 months since I last posted!! Whoops lol, funny how quickly time flies by without you realising :)

I suppose the lack of posts is more to do with not really having time to do any crafting lately, even had to step down from the DT I was in for a short time. Bit sad about that but felt a bit like I was letting them down as I couldn't participate in challenges every week. Life gets on top of you at times, especially when you have a 4 year old, a 13 month old and are nearly 6 months pregnant. All I've wanted to do is sleep lol! Hoping to get some cards made soon, going to make a list of all birthdays/anniversaries etc so can be prepared when the baby comes :)

Well I'm a bit late with this post, I was convinced it was Wednesday today! We have all been poorly in our house and it has thrown the week into a blur. It was my big girls birthday on Tuesday though, she was 4! 4 already, can't believe how time has flown by. Doesn't seem 5 mins since she was a baby lol! :)

Anyway, back to the task at hand lol. Week 3 over at Just Inspirational and this week the inspirational picture is very cute!

Wow, week 2 of the Just Inspirational challenges already!! We had a few entries for the first challenge, still early days. As it is Remembrance Day tomorrow, we thought we should do a challenge relating to the Royal British Legion. Morning everyone, brand new start to a brand new challenge blog today!

Just Inspirational Challenges  is live from today so pop on over to have a look at the first challenge! Theme of the week is a photo for inspiration chosen by the lovely Kelly S.

Here is my very first DT card! We had to use an image from our sponsor for this week which is Bugaboo Stamps. I chose Penny Doll - Giggle.

Image was printed then coloured with Promarkers, backing papers are digital ones printed from the Docrafts Favourites CD-Rom. Sentiment is from Craftwork Cards, bit of brown ribbon and Card Candi as usual lol!

Couple of cards

Hiya all, what a busy week! Managed to squeeze in a little bit of crafting but nowhere near as much as I would like lol! Just a couple of cards I have made recently, that I haven't got round to blogging up til now.

This first card was made for a lovely lady on Facebook group who hasn't been well recently and spent some time in hospital. Used a LOTV image coloured with my Promarkers, backing papers from Buzzcraft and some Fizzy Moon paper flowers with a Card Candi I coloured in with Promarkers to match the reast of the card.

This card was made for a card swap on Facebook, never done a card swap before and was a little bit nervous about sending it out for someone to look at who isn't related! Silly I know lol! Image was a freebie from the net, can't remember where though! Papers are Dovecraft Back to Basics, sentiment was stamped using promarkers and a little bit of Candi at the corner.

Back tomorrow as the new Just Inspirational challenge blog starts, with the first challenge going live at 9am! My first go on a DT so wish me luck lol! See you tomorrow morning, bright and early xxx

Pumpkins and a girly card

Hiya all, hasn't it gone cold? It's like all of a sudden, winter has descended and xmas is coming lol! I have to show you some gingerbread pumpkins that my mom and dad bought for Phoebe to decorate. This is what she did to them

Cute ain't they lol! Strange thing was though, she spent ages decorating them and then took all the smarties off before she ate one!! I had 4 cards to make this week and so far have finished a grand total of ..........1. Not doing to well lol but it's only Wednesday!! This card was made for my daughters friend who invited Phoebe to her 4th birthday party yesterday.

The stripy paper and the bottom flowery strip is from the Smirk 8x8 Naughty but Nice. Thimage was another freebie from net but not sure where, coloured with my Promarkers (getting better now lol). The sentiment is Forever Friends Pink Parfait and some card candi. After looking at the photo, I think now I wish I had written '4 today' on the bunting she is holding. Might use the image again as I have loads of birthdays coming up and think it's really cute. I would like to enter this into the following challenges;

Exciting News

Well it has been a very eventful week, lots going on here lately. Got some very exciting news to share! My lovely Facebook friend Kelly decided to start up her own challenge blog and asked a few of us to join as Design Team!! All new to me as I have never done it before but I think I am in very experienced and capable hands to guide me in the right direction should I mess up on the way haha! The blog is called Just Inspirational and will be focusing on taking inspiration for your makes from photos/pictures with perhaps the odd sketch here and there lol! There is also going to be surprise candy on offer from today until the release of the first challenge on 3rd Nov. Candy has being given by the very generous Kelly and a couple of sponsors who have been very kind in giving us some things to add to the pot! Can't wait to start our first challenge, it will be going live on Thurs 3rd Nov!

Now onto my creation of the week lol! I have made my first card using an image I coloured using my Promarkers and I have to say I am very proud of myself as I think it is fab!! (I am biased though, I suppose lol)

I decided to do an easel card this time as I have only ever made one before and have been thinking that I really should start to challenge myself a bit more lol! The papers are from part of a Wedding paper pack from Paper Cellar that I was sent from a friend for winning a challenge. The image I think was a freebie from the internet that I have had a while on the PC but I'm not sure where I got it. I coloured it in as a practice and thought it looked that good I decided to acutally use it lol! The first one I have not just binned haha! Added some paper flowers and Card Candi, and a stamped sentiment layered onto the same as I used to layer the main panels of the card. I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;
