Starting school

Well its been a while since I last posted, my blog was feeling a bit neglected lol! I actually finished making a card for my big girlie who started school this morning. She looked soooo grown up in her uniform! Can't believe she is 4 in a couple of months, amazing how fast time flies! Here she is looking very smart
all she was worried about is that she had new shoes! Showed them to everyone on the way to the school, then showed them to us as she came with the front all scuffed! The card I made had to be very pretty and colourful which sums Phoebe up lol! This is what I came up with
I have used the Honey and Hugs papers I bought recently from a friend on Facebook. I used the same Honey and Hugs character as the decoupage but printed it from the Docrafts Favourites CD I bought a few weeks ago. Used a border punch to cut out the stars pattern down the sides of the yellow card and added some card candi to each corner. Had to start using some of the new stuff I have bought recently as I couldn't justify to hubbie buying anymore til I used some up lol! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;
